Pothole Map

The Day Newspaper in New London Connecticut Friday, January 2, 2015

Maybe Florida can contact New London and save a lot of taxpayers’ money, get the public involved for free instead of paying thousands of our hard-earned tax money on dozens of companies going out to make reports.

Plus a lot quicker.

Pothole, Sink holes and dangerous debris in the roads?

Harsh winter weather is not only unpleasant for people, but it can also ravage our streets, roads and highways.

This pothole map is based on reader-submitted information and location of potholes is approximate. Click on one of the colored clusters to zoom in and view the individual markers. Click a marker to get more details about the reported pothole. We have asked readers to rate potholes as follows:

Small crack or hole.

Can be felt when driven over.

Rattles the car and nerves.

Swerve to miss it.

Just short of a sinkhole.

If you would like to report a pothole, please check the map first to see if it hasn’t already been reported. If you don’t find it, you can submit your report below and get a chance to be included in a drawing for a free front-end alignment.
