Another fight in central Florida

Judge to make ruling in fight for Wal-Mart store in DeBary

Posted: 5:24 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2015

Attorneys for the city of DeBary and the residents against the Wal-Mart presented their cases for more than two hours in a Volusia County courtroom.

The hearing focused on two main issues:

the zoning for the proposed Wal-Mart

whether residents were given due process.

In February, DeBary’s city council narrowly approved rezoning 18 acres at US 17-92 and Pine Meadow Drive for the proposed grocery store.

But the decision did not sit well with the project’s opponents, who argue the development doesn’t align with the area’s comprehensive plan.

This is just like the Dollar Store stuck in across the street from our post office?

Pictures taken today are looking from the post office out into the road from enter driveway, looking from dollar store across to the post office driveway, looking from east to west and from west to east.

Any questions?

OH by the way, the engineer from the state just said “needed a right away for the dollar store, do not need one for the United States Post Office so they will not correct the problem”.

I say “we shall see after acceptable losses”!

they did come back to “(FIX) the PROBLEM!”So, now you take your life in your hands while leaving instead of arriving to the post office.

Also the sign telling people to turn into the driveway of the post office is still there pointing into the exit from the driveway!

“This is Florida Don’t you know?
