Wisconsin GOP Passes Bill Banning Poor People From Buying Shellfish, Potatoes And Ketchup

May 15, 2015 3:26 pm ·

Wisconsin Republicans are following through with their plan to be the cruelest state in the nation

when it comes to the way poor people are treated

by passing a bill that would ban them from eating a multitude of foods.

On Wednesday,

Wisconsin Republicans in the statehouse took the first step in their agenda to punish people who use Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.

Assembly Bill 177 seeks to ban people who rely on food stamps to survive on a daily basis from buying a huge list of products deemed unworthy for the mouths of poor people and their children.

The legislation specifically bans poor people from buying any kind of shellfish,

including lobster, shrimp, and crab.

This particular ban, perhaps coincidentally, has a strong religious connection to it since the Biblical Book of Leviticus outlaws shellfish.

So perhaps without meaning to, it appears conservative lawmakers are not only banning these foods for poor people,

they are forcing only poor people to abide by an unconstitutional biblical law written thousands of years ago in a foreign land.

That sure sounds like Sharia law to me.

Not only is this against the law in this country, it is against all belief of all true Christians.

Because the book of Leviticus the Biblical Book of Leviticus outlaws is in the “Old Testament?”

Jesus Christ went to the cross to complete the Old books and be the new books.

DAYTONA BEACH HOMELESS

This has been going on for years and still no place to care for our homeless?

This is a taste of what the Florida Government Officials think about our poor and homeless!

If you can get anything at all out of a government official, they want to send all of our homeless to a piece of land,

“Out of Sight, Out of Mind!”

If you can take a few hours to help a human being, walk a little in their shoes at the protest?

Daytona homeless advocate Pastore threatens Rolex-Speedway protest

DAYTONA BEACH — Homeless advocate Mike Pastore is threatening to protest the plight of the homeless in front of Daytona International Speedway this weekend as the Rolex 24 gets rolling and as thousands of race fans flock to the new and improved racing venue.

Pastore said Wednesday that he would ask Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitwood for a safe zone where he and whomever wants to join him from the homeless camp at 250 N. Beach, can protest and bring attention to the problem of the homeless in the city. He also threatened to take the protests to the steps of the Volusia County Courthouse Annex on Orange Avenue and to the county’s Ocean Center on Atlantic Avenue.

In light of the heavy rain on Wednesday and more of the same forecast for Thursday, Pastore said he has also put out a plea for tents, saying that the city feared a “tent city” and that’s just what they might get.

“We’re all soaked to the skin,” Pastore said. “This is a self-fulfilling prophecy for the city because they didn’t want a tent city.”

He said the city will likely try to get rid of the large homeless camp outside the county government building on Beach Street in time for the Rolex 24, but he hopes to be front and center outside the racetrack this weekend with a few of the homeless in tow.

“The Rolex is right around the corner and I would ask chief Chitwood to designate a safe area where we can protest peacefully to bring attention to the homeless,” Pastore said. “We will peacefully exercise our first amendment  rights.”

The chief however was unfazed, saying that protesters are not uncommon in front of the Speedway during events there.

“It’s not a big deal,” Chitwood said Wednesday morning. “We get protests out there all the time.

County Councilman Josh Wagner, who supports Pastore’s efforts, said protesting outside the Speedway might not be that effective.

“You can use the sidewalk,” Wagner said. “But there’s so many people at the race.”

Wagner indicated that the crowds are so large that protesters could go unnoticed.

“That’s part of the reason 250 Beach has become noticeable, because there’s not a lot of people out there in that area,” Wagner said.

A few homeless people began living on the sidewalk outside 250 N. Beach last month after a downtown park and public bathrooms were closed. As more people followed, cots, blankets and food were then distributed and for weeks leaders have considered what might be done to break up what has become an encampment. The Salvation Army offered 46 beds this week for some of the 100 or so people outside the administration building but fewer than two dozen went.

An incident between a homeless person and a county employee brought the possibility of Volusia closing the building altogether, but that plan was scrapped on Tuesday.

Wagner — who spent just over 24 hours on the street recently to see what it’s like to be homeless —  said he feels that “things are moving along as they should” in regard to the situation outside the government building at 250 N. Beach. Dozens of homeless people are lined up along the sidewalk in cots piled heavy with old blankets. Next to the cots acting as a sort of buffer or boundary, are heaps of plastic bags jammed with clothing and other worldly belongings.

Wagner said the occupation outside the building is “almost a protest.”

“I feel like we’re getting stuff done,” he said.

Dog attacks Bear, Bear Wins

Remember, the state of Florida has been selling

the most desired and necessary food of the Black Bear!

The Saw Palmetto Berry for big profits for years and there is little if any left!

https://walkingwiththealligators.wordpress.com/

If you listen close to the interview you will hear four very important things, not counting their loss of their food, that are in the bears favor?

(1)- In the interview Mr. Bryant stated to the WFTV Reported, the channel they we were watching this morning,

that he had burses but it did not go through his clothing?

(2)- This trailer park is still putting trash out at night instead of the morning.

(3)- The dog attacked the bear while the bear was just looking for food.

(4)- The trailer lights came on at the end of the animals fighting when the men stepped out the door!

Which, the man admits, spooked the bear.

The bear could have easily have also killed the man however, it just knocked him down on this way out of the area.

Florida Black Bears do not Kill Humans?

Wildlife officials are trying to trap a bear that attacked and killed a family’s dog in Orange City late Monday night.

Alan Bryant said that after the bear killed his dog, it went after him.

Bryant said the bear swung at him, knocking him down and tearing his clothes.

In the interview Mr. Bryant stated to the WFTV Reported that he had burses but it did not go through his clothing?

Now he said that the bear knocked him down and tearing his clothing?

Just like the last time when the dogs attacked a bears, the bear will be the looser.

Staber said it was trash day and the bear got into the neighbor’s trash can. He dragged it to the side of her home and started rummaging through the trash.

Made in the good old; “State of Florida!”

Our workforce and small business has no way to protect this country, our states, the public and themselves from government corruption!

Tickets issued due to red-light cameras are illegal, says Florida court.

An appeals court decides that in Florida,

private companies that operate red-light cameras have no right to send out tickets.

I AGREE!

I have been saying this ever since the beginning of the installing that it was a

“Big Mistake!”

The judges mulled the fact that private owners of red-light cameras were the ones who sent out tickets.

The judges concluded:

“Hang on,

That’s not legal.”

As with every state in every country, we have technical training schools all over Florida for training Floridians so let’s use them.

Once again, our governor (Governor Rick Scott) and his Gestapo (Congress) have farmed out our manufacturing and our Florida jobs, to their

“Super Pac Companies!”

In addition, those companies as usual are,

“Milking the Public!”

Yes, I defied anyone to prove that those cameras, installed and working correctly, not only save lives, they save insurance costs and property damages!

“Installed.”

Installed by our qualified Floridian work force.

“Working Correctly.”

Not only installed with the correct mind set (to save lived) maintained by a “Floridian Workforce,” with less accidents in mind by allowing enough time between light changing for driver safety!

“Super Pac Companies!”

Companies that are paying our government officials, to do their thing?

Once again, you fill in the blanks!

Our Floridian Manufacturing Companies must have ‘Labor Protection’ from our government and big business interference!

This outsourcing and Super-Pac Ruling, all started back in the 1980’s

with the destruction of our unions by our government!

Our workforce and small business have no way to protect this country, our states, the public and themselves from government corruption!

It is now time to vote.

Please vote with your mind and brain, as well as your heart?

When you sit alone, facing this voting machine, think about the one and only person that has been giving you your answers from the heart,

with the passion to do the job correctly, with a proven past of accomplishments for many years?

Just Saying?

We do not need another loud mouth businessperson running for president only to get back the out-of-pocket money spent to get the job and as much more as possible in 8 years!

We already have such a person in Florida looking for another 8 years of collecting while our senator!

We also do not want an old insipid party changing wannabe bully running our country; we already have a choice of many governors to do this for him!

Getting cold in Florida

O.K. so it is not cold to most of my followers however, it is very cold for Floridians, at least the homeless ones.

For the past 16 years, we have marveled at a fact that there are more churches in Florida then Bars (drinking establishments)!

This is the 12th wonder of the world compared to most states.

Even if this is not true, one must wonder, with all of these Churches, Mosques, Synagogue and Temples around Mother Earth,

why are people sleeping outdoors in cold weather, homeless and hungry in any town, state or country.

If I were your Supreme Being,

I would have a surprise for you while you depart from this world and are on your way home to your Supreme Being,

NOT!

Feeding those less fortunate than you, once or twice a year on a nice warm sunny day is no doubt wonderful.

Unfortunately, humans eat and sleep more them once or twice a year?

There but for the Grace of Your God?

In ther words, if you have

“Stuff” of more value to you than your “Soul”

in your building?

Lock it up, or better yet, sell it and give the money to the poor?

Why does fate play such tricks with poor, helpless worms?

I never hear of such a case as this that I do not think of Baxter’s words,

and say,

“There, but for the grace of God, goes Sherlock Holmes.”

Residents in a St. Cloud neighborhood fear a proposed development will scare off eagles that have built a nest in a nearby tree.

St. Cloud residents fear development will hurt eagles’ nest

ST. CLOUD, Fla. —

St. Cloud residents said they are going to fight a new development to save eagles that have lived in their neighborhood for decades.

The residents on the 3400 block of Canoe Creek Road are calling on the city to stop a developer’s proposed 94-lot residential community, called Eagles Landing, from being built.

PDF: Plans for Eagles Landing in St. Cloud

A nest disturbance permit application for the area was recently received by Florida Fish and Wildlife.

Lally Development, which wants to build the community, cannot have the eagles removed, but according to plans presented by the city, it will not have to.

The developer plans to keep the tree where the eagles nest in place, and build around it with a 660-foot buffer.

“I think they are going to chase them off,” said resident Carlos DeJesus.

Residents still are not sold on the idea.

“I don’t like it. I think they are going to disturb the eagles no matter how they do it,” said resident Sue Cole.

It is not just the eagles’ nests up in the tree that people are worried about.

The developer may also have to relocate gopher tortoises.

The land has several burrows, but a study would have to be done to determine if the tortoises live there.

Channel 9’s Jeff Levkulich contacted Lally Development, but has not gotten a response.

The developer will bring the request before the St. Cloud commission Tuesday night.
