New Trash pickup company

There has been a lot of complaining about this new system in Lake county Florida and the new trash containers, not bear proof, too large, to clumsy, no place to place them and so on.

Well, here’s another.
Ever since moving to Lake county we have had this one company, every Wednesday (Hump-Day) they came by about the same time in the morning, three gentlemen, always polite, if for some reason one of us did not get the trash out on time, they would always pick up on the way back, not only that the equipment was always respectful and the men would even pick up around the containers.
Breanna would hear them coming down the road and for many years they would beep the horn and she would talk to them.
She, we and I am sure they miss this ritual in the morning.

It was past time for the neighbors work time and no one would complain anyway.
Now
First, because they are on wheels and free to use, I was hoping that many people would start recycling.
Alas, it is looking like another dream about Florida has gone by the wayside.
I was talked into a very large container, just the two of us in the house however, as explained, there is no need to drag it out each week, only when full.
The new truck would pick up the containers from the front of the truck, dump and be on the way.
Problem.
It looks like they only have one truck, so it picks up the trash in the morning, the recycle container sat out all day before, I guess, this one truck comes back late afternoon, a lot of time for the container to get animal investigated.
